Digital is the Gateway to the Future

Google が Bard という generative AI を公開し, Open AI が ChatGPT を公開するなど, 世界中で generative AI が使われています. Meta は Facebook から社名を変えて, メタバース事業に力を入れており Twitter に対抗して Threads の提供を開始しました. Apple が XR 端末を世界に送り出しました. NFT マーケットプレイスが LINE や楽天など日本の企業から提供されています. このように, 世界中でデジタルツールが利用され, 新しい未来が創られようとしています.
Generative AI is being used around the world, with Google releasing a generative AI called Bard and Open AI releasing ChatGPT. Meta, which changed its name from Facebook, focuses on the metaverse business and begins offering Threads to compete with Twitter. Apple introduces the XR Goggle to the world. NFT marketplaces are offered by Japanese companies such as LINE and Rakuten. As you can see, digital tools are being used around the world and a new future is being created.

Collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology

マサチューセッツ工科大学 (MIT) を中心に開発が進められている Implicit Q-Learning (IQL) を日本の大学で初めて千葉工業大学のデジタル変革科学科の講義に導入する予定です. この IQL はデータサイエンスに特化した Generative AI です. 2 年次秋学期のグローバルデジタル論で講義されます. この IQL は MIT でも 2023 年の秋学期からコースが始まります.

Implicit Q-Learning (IQL), which is mainly developed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), will be introduced to this department at Chiba Institute of Technology for the first time in a Japanese university. This IQL is a generative AI specialized for data science. It will be taught in the fall semester of the second year in Global Digital Theory. This IQL course will also be started at MIT from the fall semester of 2023.

千葉工業大学では日本で始めて NFT 学修証明書を発行しました. また全ての学生の学位記も NFT 化して発行します. NFT 学修証明書は暗号資産ウォレットで証明データを管理できるため, 様々なプラットフォームに接続し, 学びの成果をワンストップで提示することができます. また NFT 化することで, ブロックチェーン技術の強みを生かし, 学生のプライバシーに配慮した仕様で情報漏洩リスクが軽減されます. 来たる web3 時代に備え, 世界標準のツールにより世界に通用する国際人材の輩出を千葉工業大学の変革センターとデジタル変革科学科が支援します.

Chiba Institute of Technology was the first in Japan to issue NFT certificates. All students’ degrees are also converted into NFT certificates. NFT certificates can be managed in a cryptographic wallet, which can be connected to various platforms to provide a one-stop shop for the presentation of study results. In addition, by converting to NFT, the risk of information leakage is reduced by taking advantage of blockchain technology and the privacy-conscious specifications of students. In preparation for the coming web3 era, the Center for Radical Transformation and the Department of Digital X at Chiba Institute of Technology will support the production of world-class international human resources with world-class tools.
